And There Goes May...
We have been taking advantage of the awesome weather and have been spending a lot of time outside!
We have really slowed down on school. It was hard to focus on academics with the all the lovely sunshine. We played in the pool, added more touches to our bean tent, and spent time chasing baby chicks to help teach them how to go into the coop at night to avoid predators. Apparently I took almost no photos of the boys as well, ha ha. Here Avery is using his new knights and his castle blocks. He made many castles after pouring through the many books we just bought.
The older two know that school ends when their workbooks for the year are finished. All About Reading we are right on track and will finish on the last day of our charter school. Math and writing they have a bit more to do, but will be done by end of June. We have pretty much forgotten science and art this week, but next week we start our final projects which will focus on those, as well as other, subjects for our final portfolio.
We are waiting for our dog, Cookie, to have her second batch of puppies in just a few weeks! This week we will set up her nesting area and start gathering supplies for cute, messy, snugly puppies!
I hope your days have been bright and happy! Here is to the last two weeks of school and maybe snapping some more photos this week! Ha!The Dillman's
