Last Week of School
The puppies are here! The puppies are here! After a longer than usual for dogs labor, we woke at 5am Thursday to the cries of newbron puppies. Cookie had hid under Michael's bed and had had three when I woke up. I carried them upstairs and the boys woke too, getting to watch puppies born! She had eight in the end, eight cute squeekers!
We finished All About Reading!!! The older two are ready for level 3 next year and Avery will start level 1!
Emmet did some paper clothes crafting for him and Avery. Both of them also sewed some this week!
We got our Blick art supplies and the boys wasted no time starting to fill out their sketchbooks with drawings!
More puppies, because, cute!
Prepping their garden spaces some more! We will be able to plant into them and finish putting up their window boxes this weekend I hope.
And some more puppy-ness.
Our final project bacame minimal. I dont have the energy to do much more right now and we are all ready for a break! Michael's is mostly green and a painting of Robin Hood. Emmet made a red background for his Samurai painting. And at the end is Avery's white knight, fighting a zombie. Haha.
We used more of our new items, the easels, paint and brushes for our final project paintings!
I will continue to post about farm and kid projects as the summer goes on! We had an awesome school year and plan to do even more next year!
Cheers to summer break!
