Week 30 April 18-22nd: Tulips and Space

This was a week of board games and flowers!

We played quite a few games this week including Grill Party, DnD, Dreaming Dragons, and pokemon cards.

On Tuesday we spent a very wet, very cold hour playing in the rain, and then making little bee watering dishes to take home and put in our yard. The kids read a book about Earth Day and sustainability and talked about how to help bees.
Then Thursday our group ventured to the Tulip Festival! I have always wanted to go and was not disappointed It is breathtaking to see so many blooms at once! We each picked out our favorites and plan to order some for our own yard.
Michael is OBSESSED with Garfield right now. He brings home every.single.garfield.book each time we go to a library. We have upwards of 40 of them in our house right now. Lol!
Avery and I had a rare morning to ourselves as the older two had a sleepover one night at Super Nanny's house. We got to spend the morning playing games and eating breakfast together. His cup was full.
We read a chapter in Story of the World, made Galaxy paper plates, read about the lifecycle of a star, read many chapters in Harry Potter, and then had a volunteer day at our farm on Friday. The boys got to play a lot, and all the kids helped to plant flower seeds and pumpkin seeds!

Hope you had a fantastic week.
